I found this fractal to be a good example of iridescence. Time for a science lesson! Iridescence is caused by the cancellation of light waves as they enter and exit a curved surface. Not all the wavelengths are canceled out, so the spectrum can be seen most of the time on a bubble floating through the air or sitting on a pile of dirty dishes.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
